A tranquil summer scene water colour by Martin Frederick Hamlyn (1886-1966). This piece if from his London Scene collection. The piece measures: Frame 24" x 18" Picture 18" x 12" Hamlyn attended Alleysus School, Dulwish and thence to Camberwell Art School. He became a self employed artist doing much advertising work. His studio was at the top of Queen Anne House in Shoe Lane. Amongst others, he was a member of the Langham Sketch Club, the London Sketch Club and the Wapping Group.
